At the height of sexual pleasure, the male orgasm occurs when the anal sphincter, rectum, and perineum all contract at the same time. However, due to a lack of semen in the testicles, some men have experienced very short orgasms.
This can happen if a man has diabetes, has just had prostate surgery, or is using medicines to address prostate problems. The disorder known as Retrograde Ejaculation also has an impact on the volume of semen production. This occurs when a man has the sensation of ejaculation during sex but no fluid is released from the penis because the semen is driven back to the bladder and ejected out of the body through urination.
Retrograde ejaculation is most common in men who have just undergone prostate surgery, as described in the first paragraph, or who have suffered nerve damage as a result of a spinal accident. Although this medical problem poses no immediate danger to your health, it may interfere with your ability to conceive a family. You have a variety of options for increasing your virility:
1. Drink a lot of water. A normal person should drink at least 8 glasses of water per day to keep the body properly hydrated. A dehydrated body will affect your sexual performance and the amount of semen stored.
2. Cut down/Stop smoking. It’s well documented that the harmful toxins in each cigarette will greatly affect your virility, due to the large reduction in sperm count.
3. Have regular sex or masturbation. By doing this, it will reduce the chances of a man getting prostate cancer, which in turn will affect your semen volume after surgery.
